GOLD MEDAL AWARDED: INTERNATIONAL WINE CHALLENGE 2017
''The original and still best producer of albariño, Palacio de Fefiñanes, shows the way, playing up the mineral-saltiness and thrilling acidity – without stinting on the prettiness of blossom, pear and peach – in what is, pound for pound, one of the best value white wines in the world.'' David Williams, The Guardian UK
Rias Baixas: Fresh fruit aromas of apricot, peach slices, green apples with pretty secondary notes of honey and nutmeg; the mouth is round, clean, and pleasant. This is a classic Albarino which is good young, but actually improves over two to three years and remains quite drinkable for up to five years.
