''Even though this wine is structured, it's as much about fruit as tannins. The structure is in support, with a dry core that will allow the wine to age.'' 91 Points, Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast Magazine
Duras is a dark, savoury-sweet offering punchy bramble, inky, dark cherry and forest berry fruits as well as a delicious touch of something 'animal'. This wild edge is absolutely typical of the variety, as are the firmer tannins .

Notes of strawberry and black currant. Due to the low tannins and fruity nature, this wine has to be best served slightly chilled. A versatile accompaniment to food, the red's especially nice with hors d'oeuvres, white meats and cured meats.
