''It is an attractive, subtle, medium-bodied Bordeaux with already emerging complexity, plenty of mulberry and black cherry fruit, sweet tannin, and a surprisingly long finish.'' Wine Advocate Magazine
Bernard Baudry Les Granges Chinon Cabernet Franc 2015
2015 was a wonderful vintage for this address with superb ripeness. It's packed with fleshy, floral-noted, purple fruit aromas and flavours and finishes with crunchy freshness and mouth-filling perfume.
Aromas of strawberries, raspberries, dark chocolate, roast herbs. On the palate plump, concentrated and rich. The finish is a real cocktail of red fruit, cocoa and roast spices. A good, long, lingering finish.
Amazingly intense. Lifted and perfumed. Something a bit floral on the nose. Lots of zest and great structure plus masses of ripe fruit. Dry finish. Lots in reserve here. Real freshness,'' Jancis Robinson
''This offers up smoky, kirsch, cassis and floral notes. Beautifully textured, loads of ripe fruit; this is a sexy, hedonistic style of wine to drink over the next decade.'' 92 Points, Wine Advocate Magazine
"Wonderful aromas of ripe fruit that are deep and delicious. Hints of walnuts and meats. Full body, with soft tannins and a juicy, velvety textured finish. Lots going on here." 93 Points, James Suckling
